7G Rainbow Colony by Selvaraghavan finally had its grahapravesh on Oct 15th . The film had quite created quite a buzz with its shocking hoarding( i didn't find it so but AIDWA did), soothing music and brilliant trailers.
Selvaraghavan's alter ego is Kathir , a college student who does not do anything other than letting his hormones work. The film chronicles Kathir's journey from a good for nothing guy to a man.
Selva has told a natural and long (good 20 mins can be edited) story with a twist in the end. Dialogues are 100% Chennai speak. Yuvan seems to be the next "Raja" in BGM and although the songs are good they really flog the pace down .Arvind Krishna's camera work is yummy in the rain and night sequences. Ravi looks and plays the part of a watsrel to perfection ( I hope he does not go Dhanush way in carrying of other roles )and Sonia is first rate in the movie.
The stay in 7G Rainbow colony has its moments but does not always make you feel that it's your home.

nope, personally felt KK was better. Probably has to do with personal preference for dark movies.
