It is so surprising that , regional films (read Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu films) hardly have theatrical release . This despite the fact that multiplexes(read niche audiences) are a booming business in this part of the country .
This has resulted in me becoming a BIG supporter of PIRACY.
Now I go for a week end visit to Paalika Bazaar (read sophistcated version of our Burma Bazaar) and get a pirated VCD/DVD of all latest tamil /Mallu movies.
Long live PIRACY.
